Cyprus Theatre group visits Adelaide

1 June 2023 The Theatrical Organisation of Cyprus visited Adelaide for the first time in its long history, on Wednesday 17 May 2023. The group gave only one performance at the Woodville Town Hall and presented the popular comedy “Kontogiorgides and Makrikosteoi”, written by Alekos Sakelarios and Christos Giannakopoulos quite a few decades ago. The group toured Australia under the auspices of the Cyprus Government to mark the 50th anniversary since the establishment of diplomatic relations with Australia. The performance was attended by 400 people.
