Adelaide community end of year events

22 December 2023 The Thebarton Greek Pensioners Association, held its annual Christmas event on 8th December at the Thebarton Community Centre. The association provided live Greek Music by the Zorbas band. Christakis and Michalis, some of our most authentic local musicians, entertained the almost two hundred attendees with their nostalgic repertoire. West Torrens Mayor Michael Coxon was also present at the event and was witnessed by the Greek Tribune having fun on the dance floor with the members of the Thebarton Greek Pensioners Association! President of the association Jim Papanikolas and members of the executive committee welcomed mayor Michael Coxon and wished everyone a merry Christmas and a happy new year. Father Christmas was also in attendance offering small gifts and wishes to everyone. A raffle was drawn which gave many the opportunity to win gifts offered by the association. The Greek pensioners club will re-open for the new year, in early February.
